Thermal Transfer Printing Technology or TT also uses a fixed printhead with a single row of heat elements. Thermal transfer printers utilise a combination of label stocks and heat-sensitive ink ribbons to print an image.
TT UNCOATED
An uncoated paper for cost-effective printing of labels for limited outdoor exposure. It is also available as tags.
TT COATED
A coated paper for cost-effective printing. It is suitable for limited outdoor exposure and environments, where mild abrasion, heat or sunlight are present.
TT PREMIUM
A coated thermal transfer material providing excellent print quality. It is recommended for limited outdoor exposure and is resistant to moderate abrasion, heat or sunlight.
TT POLYETHYLENE (PE)
A mid-quality, durable polyethylene material with good tear resistance and an aggressive adhesive. It is recommended for outdoor usage.
TT HIGH-GLOSS
A high-class, top coated polyester label which provides Polyester (PET) excellent print quality in combination with good resistance to tear, smear, heat, chemicals and mechanical abrasion.
TT KAPTON
A polyimide material used for labeling PC boards. This material features good resistance to extremely high temperatures, smear and harsh chemicals. It is available in white or yellow.
