As part of its value added commitment to its reseller partners, ScanSource Europe is continuing to invest in Technical Support and Sales Support and expanding the team.
Why is it crucial to have the right level of support? In terms of pre-sales support, ScanSource engineers work closely with the sales team, ensuring that products recommended for a solution are those that best meet the customer's needs, as well as advising on compatibility issues and possible system integrity challenges.
At a post-sales level, engineers work to isolate and identify problems with hardware and software, offering solutions quickly and efficiently. The Account Managers provide the day-to-day point of contact with our customers, ensuring they receive the service level they require.

ScanSource Europe Configuration Centre: Increasing customer profitability

 

ScanSource Europe’s Configuration Services allow resellers to free up valuable technical resources and reduce time spent on labour-intensive low value return areas. Services offered include pre-loading of operating systems and application software, charging of batteries, custom packaging and labeling, and configuring system settings. With these benefits, resellers can focus on their core business, reducing overheads and meeting end-user needs.

 

Since the Configuration Centre commenced operations in November 2007, ScanSource has configured over 4500 units for customers – around 18 pieces a day.


To date, we have had 29 orders from 4 customers to fit stripper modules to PF8 printers and include all cables in the box – 912 units in total.
We have also uploaded customer software onto 520 terminals and charged the batteries of these terminals so they are ready to use.
